The Aquaculture Atlas Production System (AAPS) uses CLS provided software and the D4Science infrastructure to analyse EO (Copernicus and other) datasets. The analysis combines an automated phase to detect cages, with a human validation and editing phase, to produce OGC compliant data. The VRE is used to edit and enrich the map-features, vizualize the maps, and export data in stard formats . The Demonstrator implements a workflow across CLS, Copernicus, and Blue Cloud infrastructures. The demonstrator will present a combination services to (a) combine EO, environmental, and socio-economic datasets, and (b) manage OGC compliant geo-spatial data storage, processing (proximity analysis), and publishing, and (c) produce a baseline set of indicators providing the map-based aquaculture overviews.
