This Virtual Lab comprises a suite of services promoting Open Science practices and designed to foster collaboration and enhance interaction among diverse research audiences. Specifically: Shared Cloud Storage: An intuitive application for storing both private and shared data. Open Data Analytics Platform: A computational environment for dataset exploration and validation, along with an online coding system using JupyterHub and JupyterLab technologies to create live documents (notebooks) that combine code, text, and visualisations, capturing the entire research process. Catalogue: Facilitates the discovery, access, and reuse of research artefacts, enabling the publication of results as digital objects in Zenodo.org. This ensures FAIR preservation, citation, and DOI minting, with the VRE ensuring transparent deposition and linkage of objects to the FOSSR project. Social Networking Collaborative Applications: Allows partners to share posts (text, images, and files annotated with hashtags) within the VRE, collecting them in a dedicated feed.
