RECOFI-RDB_PILOT

This VRE provides a pilot regional database in support of RECOFI's resolution on Minimum Data Reporting (MDR), which requires RECOFI Members to submit annual statistics on Catch and Effort as well as Length Frequency data for selected priority species. Together with MDR data, the VRE also disseminates information on RECOFI stocks and fisheries inventories. Only accredited entities will be allowed to submit, view, edit, and download data. The VRE is managed by FAO staff, in particular E. Blondel under the directions of NFISI Team Leader Dr. M. Taconet. This VRE will also be used for training workshops as part of FAO's Capacity Building initiative in the RECOFI region.
