FutureDroughtRiskOnEcosystems

The VLab will use post-processed hydrology and land surface modelling data (drought indices and ecosystem processes responses) to visualize the drought properties and statistics and the corresponding responses of surface water resources, agricultural yield, and forest carbon uptake. There will be maps showing these risks and impacts for specific time slices (or aggregating windows), and the option to adjust the selected time slice in the plot. Further, the possibility to select a different variable of interest or another drought type should also be implemented. There will be similar graphs and fields showing approximations of the uncertainty of the displayed information. A click on the map or a field input for a specific location will change the view to one-dimensional data slices of that location only. Lastly, an information site will give detailed descriptions on how these data were produced and calculated, and how they should be interpreted.
