The role supports the governance of data processing activities, and policies that safeguard users’ rights and the lawful management of information within D4Science.
Gian Luca Vannini
Oversees the publication and management of GIS Data. This includes ensuring data quality, metadata completeness, and the availability of GIS data to users.
Dr. Marco Procaccini
Manages cloud engineering and Cloud infrastructure aspects. This includes deploying and managing components and ensuring the stability and performance of the cloud environment.
Dr. Biagio Peccerillo
Manages cloud engineering, accounting and data storage aspects. This includes configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure, implementing data storage solutions, and ensuring data backup and recovery.
Giancarlo Panichi
Responsible for the management of the release of new features and for updating the infrastructure. This includes coordinating release planning, testing, and deployment, ensuring minimal service disruption.
Alfredo Oliviero
Responsible for designing and implementing D4Science's AI component of the cloud infrastructure and for managing the social networking aspects of the platform. This includes defining the cloud architecture, selecting appropriate technologies, and managing D4Science's online presence and community engagement.
Francesco Mangiacrapa
Responsible for the design, development, integration, and management of D4Science’s product management services, including data management solutions. This includes overseeing the catalogues that support the D4Science infrastructure, managing their technologies, ensuring data security and integrity, supervising IT operations, and developing and implementing IT strategies to support D4Science’s objectives.
Dr. Luca Frosini
Responsible for the design, development, integration, and management of D4Science's services, with a focus on the enabling technology and information systems that power the infrastructure. He drives innovation in data management solutions and related offerings, ensuring their functionality, usability, and alignment with infrastructure objectives, and oversees the underlying technology architecture and its evolution.
Dr. Gianpaolo Coro
Responsible for the building and maintenance of relationships with external stakeholders, including research communities, funding agencies, and other relevant organizations. This also includes disseminating information about D4Science activities, services, and research products to promote its use and impact through various communication channels.
Dr. Massimiliano Assante
Provides overall leadership and strategic direction ensuring the effective operational management and strategic execution of D4Science's infrastructure activities. This includes overseeing all aspects of service delivery, day-to-day operations, research, development, testing, and release activities related to the services offered by the infrastructure, ensuring alignment with D4Science mission and vision. He is responsible for the performance of the division and for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to users.
