3rd gCore release is available

We are pleased to announce the third and final release in the ALPHA development cycle of gCore. For the most part this is a maintenance release, in that most changes are related to bug fixing and fine tuning of internal components. Client-level changes and features are limited to:

For the gCube application Framework (gCF):

• a new query model for the Information System Client (ISClient) interfaces;
• additional facilities for loosely-coupled connections between Handlers;
• the extension of the Information System Publisher (ISPublisher) interface for the publication of Topics;
• more flexible logging facilities (debug log and info log for the container, service-specific logs).

As to the rest of the gCube Core distribution:

• the inclusion of the full javadoc documentation of the gCore API;
• the update of the Delegation service with full support for service credential renewal;
• the update of the gCube Hosting Node Manager (GHNManager) service with full support for dynamic scope management.

Similarly, the documentation introduces:

• a correction of a number of inaccuracies in the primer and administrator guide;
• the addition of a section in the primer dedicated to the usage of new ISClient query model;
• a live reference to the javadoc documentation of the API in gCore WIKI.
